Employee Drug Testing

Oil, gas, chemicals and utilities all have the potential to be hazardous not only for employees but for whole neighbourhoods. Many people working for these organisations are contractors, so company drug and alcohol policies extend beyond employees. Typically, contract workers must have a recent negative drug test result before being allowed on a site, and will be subject to random and post incident testing alongside the company employees.

Medscreen provides the full range of services needed to support these industries' approach to drugs and alcohol and are approved suppliers for the major oil companies' employee drug testing. We work with occupational health departments who may do their own pre-employment testing, and provide 24 hour on-call cover and random programme management.

We can help contractors comply with drug and alcohol policy requirements. We have collection centres. available close to key industrial centres for pre-access testing, and can provide the same on-call cover and programme management for alcohol and drug testing in the workplace .
